Some of you (my friends) know me, and some of you don't. and I'm sure in time you will know, I LOVE FOOD! ( i will be adding photos of everything i make/order and i would love come feedback on what you thought :) )
I finally got around to starting this blog. so here goes.
This is my first food review. This all started out with taking pics of EVERYTHING I eat. and by everything I mean EVERYTHING! unless I'm busy/on the run.
well anyways i went out to a late lunch today.
Destination: Applebees.
started the meal off with a nice appetizer.(Queso Blanco)
*Hint try it with some jalapeños :)
I decided to order the Cowboy burger with jalapeños (i love spicy), now it seems that burgers always look so good on the menu, and when you get your meal, its nothing like whats pictured. i must say this looked better than what was pictured.
It was piled a mile high with crispy onion strings, super crisp red onions, and bacon. I must say, hands down, best experience at applebees.
now to the downside. my buns got soggy really fast. But what can you expect with a burger that looks like this.
(now i didn't have my camera with me so the pictures aren't the greatest.)
overall i would have to rate this at a 7.5/10.
Pros: the onion strings were perfect, cheese wasn't dry, and the patty was more that i expected, i mean if that picture doesn't speak for itself, I'm not sure what to tell you. it was a juicy mess that i enjoyed. i was glad they brought me my jalapeños, cause that added the perfect spice, but wasn't overpowering.
Cons: 2 small pieces of bacon that were not crisp at all, a tiny bit of lettuce, 2 quarter size pickles and maybe 3 rings of onion.
